Brooke Nicole Kelley, Beloved Nurse and Mother, Passes Away at 31 in Florence, AL
Brooke Nicole Kelley, a cherished mother and dedicated nurse, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the age of 31, leaving behind a legacy of love and care in Florence, Alabama.
Brooke's passion for helping others shone through in her work as a nurse at North Alabama Medical Center, where she served in the nursery, caring for newborns with unwavering dedication. Known for her deep love for her son, Carter Drake Kelley, Brooke's life was centered around family. She was also an enthusiastic supporter of the Alabama Crimson Tide.
A 2012 graduate of Central High School and a 2018 graduate of Northwest Shoals Community College, Brooke was remembered by her loved ones as a kind-hearted, devoted individual. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Windell Borden, and close friend, Blake Irons.
She leaves behind a loving family, including her son, parents Wendy and Jason Brown, siblings, nieces, nephews, and many others who will carry her memory forward.
In a heartfelt tribute, a family friend shared, "Brooke was the light in many lives. Her caring nature will be deeply missed."
Brooke's funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, with visitation from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a service at Morrison Funeral Home in Florence.
